Tip of The Week - April 5, 2004 |
Put a little kick into your pitches |
To hit solid pitch shots, good footwork is essential. Set up with most of your weight on the left of your front foot. Swing back without making a weight shift as there will not be enough time to shift it back during such a short swing. However, as you start your downswing, kick your right knee forward (toward your other knee) as this will give you momentum to swing smoothly and hit the ball with some authority.
